Meriboo MW now in stock!

June and July are going to be busy at DYNT.  I hope you'll take the time out of your busy schedule to stop in and say hi and stock up on your project needs.  People think of fiber arts as a winter time project, but summer vacation has many opportunities to work on a short project.  Vacation, car travel, days at the pool, running the 'rents to the doctor, all have little bits (and some long bits!) of time in which you could be working on a pair of socks, a baby blanket, a small shrug...well, just about anything!

This Saturday is the Harmony Plant Exchange.  DYNT will be open during the event.  Stop at the Center of Harmony Shuttle Stop and stop in.  Pick up a cup of coffee at Wunderbar.  Bottles and Barrels is scheduled to open then too...they are still painting and working hard on their space, so I hope they'll be ready!

Back to things at DYNT - Frog Tree's Meriboo MW is now in stock.  This is an eco-friendly, machine washable blend of Merino Wool and Bamboo Viscose.  This blend creates great luster, softness, and durability.  Frog Tree is a Fair-Trade company, so you can rest assured that the people behind your yarn are earning a living.  The Meriboo is a DK weight, 50grams/1.75oz/105yards.  Each ball retails for $8.40.

Beginning Spinning, the Drop Spindle Class will be on June 23rd from 10:30am - 12:30pm.  The cost is $30 and includes the roving for the class and use of a spindle.  Pre-registration is required, as it is a very hands on class, so class size is limited.
