Below is a list of DYNT's current suppliers. It's a work in progress...and we don't carry all lines from each supplier.
Annie Adams - Handmade lead free pewter buttons, buckles and shawl pins. Made in NY.
Appalachian Baby - Organic, US grown cotton yarn and kits for baby.
Back to Back Alpaca - US made Alpaca, Alpaca/Wool and Alpaca/Cotton quilt batting that can be used for quilts, crafts, and felting. They also hand-dye alpaca fleece pieces that may be used in many fiber crafts, including felting.
Blue Ridge - Hand painted yarns from Virginia.
Brittany Needles - Sustainable hardwood crochet hooks and knitting needles, made in CA.
Brown Sheep Company, Inc. - Family owned mill in Mitchell, Nebraska that makes wool and wool blend yarns, including Burly Spun, Cotton Fleece, Lamb's Pride & Lamb's Pride Superwash, Lana Loft, Legacy Lace, Wildfoote Luxury Sock Yarns.
Burg' Baby Gear - Author of Knitting Wool Diaper Covers from Start to Finish. A book that contains everything you have ever wanted to know about knitting your own cloth diaper covers - includes patterns for longies, shorties, and soakers as well as tips and information for cloth diapering parents.
Classic Elite - DYNT carries some of their Verde Collection of environmentally conscious yarns, and Mountain Top a line of undyed natural yarns.
Denise Interchangeable Needles - An American made line of plastic inter-changeable knitting needles and crochet hooks. The knitting and crochet components are also inter-changeable.
Farmhouse Yarns - An American hand-dyed yarn company that sources much of it's yarn from US farmers. Based in CT. Includes a line of US grown cotton in bulky and worsted weight.
Fiberactive Organics - Organic threads and ribbon.
Florafil - American Made cotton yarns from a 4th generation fiber mill.
Frabjous Fibers - Vermont importers of yarns and fibers purchased from womens' cooperatives in Nepal and India. They support educational endeavors in those countries and help the co-ops purchase needed equipment. Their lines include peace silk, reclaimed silk, banana yarns and wool.
Frog Tree Yarns - After living in Mexico for many years, this family started an importing business to help support the artisans in Mexico, Bolivia and Peru. They carry alpaca, wool, cotton and bamboo yarns.
Handmade in the Hills - Handspun & Hand - dyed yarns from PA.
Jelly Yarn - PA made plastic yarns! Great for crafts, knitting & crochet. You have to see it to believe it.
Kollage Yarns - Conventional fiber mill, DYNT carries their Corntastic (corn based), Riveting (recycled jeans), and Hope (US Grown, organic cotton). They have a few other lines from unique renewable products, like milk and soy that we may carry in the future.
Kraemer Yarns - Fiber mill located in Nazareth, PA! DYNT carries many of their lines, including Tatamy Tweed Worsted, Perfection Worsted, Bear Creak, Sterling Silk & Silver, Saucon Sock, and Naturally Nazareth. We also carry their Mauch Chunky Roving - great for spinning and felting.
Manos del Uruguay Yarns - Currently, DYNT carries the Serena Line from this Fair Trade Company based in Philadelphia that works with a women's co-op in Uruguay. The co-op was started in 1968 by 5 women.
Peace Fleece - Bridging the gap between historical enemies through the fiber trade, they offer wool yarns, hand painted buttons and knitting needles, felting supplies and kits.
Stramba Farms - Located in Wampum, this local mill creates yarns for DYNT and other local companies and farms. They also raise their own alpaca. Lisa's Local Line is made here.
Unplanned Peacock Studio - a hand dyed yarn company also from the Blue Ridge area of Virginia. The colorways will knock your socks off!
Zealana - an eco yarn from New Zealand. Their yarns contain possum fiber - an animal that was imported and is hazardous to the native eco-system. A portion of their yarn sales go to restoring the natural ecosystem of New Zealand.
Zitron -An environmentally friendly line from Germany. Currently, DYNT only carries some of the Trekking yarns in this line
